Read a short guide preview
Explore a short Day 1 extract from each of the four guides in the Playbook.
Guide 1: Pick your patch
Choose a tight service area before spending time on branding.
Review where you can realistically work and think in drive time, not just miles. Choose a core patch and 3-5 neighbourhoods you would be happy to serve repeatedly. Run a simple 10/15/20-minute drive test at realistic working times.
Guide 2: Reconstruct the win
Work out exactly how client #1 found you and what made them comfortable enough to book.
Write the complete path from first exposure to first paid booking. Record the channel, area, message/offer, response time and number of contacts before the booking. Separate what you know from what you are guessing.
Guide 3: Define your version of full
Stop treating 'full diary' as a vague ambition and define what it means for your business.
Choose the days you genuinely want to work. Set realistic start and finish times. Decide how many core service periods you want each day. Protect breaks, admin and unavoidable travel time. Write a measurable definition of full.
Guide 4: Identify the real bottleneck
Prove that personal delivery capacity - not a fixable diary problem - is genuinely blocking growth.
List every suitable enquiry you could not sensibly accept. Check whether poor routing, weak pricing or bad-fit work is still consuming capacity. Separate owner-capacity problems from diary-design problems. Write the single constraint that now limits growth.
